Turn (R) at the McAdenville-Cramerton intersection. At the first stop light, bear (R) onto Hickory Grove Rd. Stay on this road until you get to the fourth stoplight. There will be an East Gaston sign. Turn (R) onto Lane Rd. and the school will be on the left.

I-85 North from Kings Mountain
Exit at Lowell-McAdenville. Go thru McAdenville to the bottom of the hill in front of the mill. Turn (L) at the light onto Hickory Grove Rd. Stay on this road until you get to the fourth stoplight. There will be an East Gaston sign. Turn (R) onto Lane Rd. and the school will be on the left.

Hwy 321 South from Lincolnton
Take the Dallas exit and turn (L) at the stoplight. Go to the 5th stoplight and turn (L) at Eckerds onto Dallas-Stanley Hwy. Go to the 3rd stoplight and turn (R) onto Hickory Grove Rd. Go to the 2nd stoplight and turn (L) onto Lane Rd. and the school will be on the left.

Hwy 27 South from Lincolnton

Take Hwy 27 from Lincolnton to Stanley. Take a (R) at the stoplight next to CVS. Go to next stoplight and turn (L) and then (L) again at the stoplight onto Hickory Grove Rd. Go to the 2nd stoplight and turn (L) onto Lane Rd. and the school will be on the left.

Continue (pass horse farm) until you get to stop sign (Must turn right or left). Turn (L). Go around mountain until you get to Camp Rotary Rd. (on right-look for fire station). Turn (R) onto Camp Rotary Rd. Go to stop sign and turn (R). Will see church on your right. Continue until you see the school on your left (at intersection). Turn (L) onto Chapel Grove School Rd. (at intersection) and the optimist is on your left - white & purple building.

If you are coming from the North via Gastonia/Charlotte, follow I-85 South and take exit 10B to Hwy 74 West to Shelby. Continue on Hwy 74 approx. 17.5 miles. Once on the West side of Shelby, you will see a white GWU Logo sign directing you where to turn to come to Gardner-Webb University. You will turn left onto Old Boiling Springs Road. Continue to stop sign and take a right onto Hwy 150. Follow into Boiling Springs, NC.

Take HWY 49 into Harrisburg and turn right at the stop light onto Sims Parkway. There is a Wachovia bank on the corner of Sims Parkway and HWY 49. Follow Sims Parkway 1 block to the stop sign and then turn left into the Park. Follow the road around and the field will be on your right.
